The Only Constant in this City

The one thing I will fail to fathom for my entire life is why we can change the skylines of our city, uprate our infrastructure and shift the political climate in months or even weeks, yet choose to forget that there are people who have been cast into homelessness and hidden from the very society they could very well help make better. Oh what a glorious world; we’ll never know what stands behind the other door.
